NEITCC's Mission
The Northeastern Illinois Two-Cylinder Club was formed in 1988 for the purpose of furthering the preservation, restoration, and interest in antique John Deere two-cylinder tractors, new generation tractors, and related agricultural equipment. The club purpose remains the same today with approximately 170 members located, for the most part, in the northeastern Illinois geographical area. Members reside in the area's cities, towns, and villages and are engaged (or were) in a wide and varied range of occupations. However, they all have one thing in common; a love of vintage John Deere tractors and their unique sound -- plus a desire to preserve the legacy and tradition of an agricultural icon-John Deere two-cylinder tractors.
The NEITCC is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors who meet monthly. Board meetings are open to all members.
In addition to the fun of interacting with members and their families who have common interests, the club has a number of enjoyable activities such as:
Monthly Newsletter
Annual Pot Luck & Fun Auction
Annual Club Picnic
Plow Days
Greasy Finger Workshops (technical)
Banquet (bi-annual)
Two-Cylinder Days at Grand Detour (bi-annual)
Parades and Tractor Shows
Gathering of the Green
So whether you have a tractor (or two three or more) or just have an interest old "Johnny Poppers," come join us. The membership fee is a nominal $15 per year. Where can you get so much so little?
